Bridals Capturing Family History
I have had the honor of capturing this beautiful bride in every step of her wedding. In preparation to her big day, Karlyn wanted to showcase her groom's family heritage within her bridal session. The home her bridals were captured in was built in early 1900's and at one point was owned by his family for many generations. It is located in Downtown Bryan, not to be mistaken with The Astin Mansion that is located in the same area.
No longer owned by members of the family or open for the public, she reached out before hand and the current owners generously welcomed us in. They were excited to allow her to continue the family tradition of bridal portraits being done at the home. The home tour was nothing short of amazing and full of fascinating local history. Not only was the location and historical factors about the home a rare and wonderful experience, her veil was also a family heirloom. The beautiful cathedral length veil was worn by 3 generations on her groom's side and is over 100 years old. The opportunity to include family history and heritage always lights my heart on fire.
Please enjoy a few of the images captured during her bridal session.
P.S.-- Yes we asked, they are friendly ghosts!
